The department of Chemistry is pleased to announce the hiring two new faculty members who will join the department as assistant professors in fall 2015.

Dr. Jared Allred received his PhD from Princeton University and is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Argonne National Lab. Dr. Allred’s research focuses on the preparation and study of novel solid state magnetic materials.

Dr. Jack Dunkle received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Emory University.  Dr. Dunkle’s research interests focus on understanding the structure and function of RNA modification enzymes.
