Introductory videos will be live on the Virtual Recruiting Visit website:
- Departmental introduction, including an overview of our facilities
- Introduction to the graduate programs in Chemistry and to the UA Graduate School
- Brief overviews of current research for each group in our Department
Make sure to watch the introductory videos for those research groups you are interested in! You will have a chance ask our faculty questions during our live events.
Saturday, February 13th
9:00 – 10:00 AM: Welcome, open Q&A session on graduate program, applications
(moderators: Dr. Bonizzoni, Dr. Frantom)
10:00 – 10:50 AM: Break: brief introduction of student participants. Breakout-room chats: multiple rounds in randomly selected groups for a quick chat to get to know each other
10:50 – 11:00 AM: Getting ready for individual meetings with faculty
11:00 – 11:30 AM: Individual meetings with faculty: 1st round
11:30 – 12:00 PM: Individual meetings with faculty: 2nd round
12:00 – 12:50 PM: Lunch break (Zoom lounge open; mingle, exchange opinions)
12:50 – 1:00 PM: Meet back on Zoom to get ready for next Q&A session
1:00 – 1:30 PM: Q&A session with current graduate students
1:30 – 2:00 PM: Individual meetings with faculty: 3rd round
2:00 – 2:30 PM: Individual meetings with faculty: 4th round
2:30 – 3:00 PM: Final Q&A, closing remarks (moderators: Dr. Bonizzoni, Dr. Szulczewski, Dr. Frantom)
