Shelby Hall Parking

  • Parking Deck: A parking deck available for visitors can be found on Campus Dr. just East of Shelby Hall. Visitors can park without a permit for $3.
  • Shelby Hall Lots: Two parking lots for faculty and staff are available on the east side of Shelby Hall. A faculty/staff parking permit is required to park here. Visitors may obtain a temporary permit from Transportation Services in the Student Services building (Campus Dr. and McCorvey Dr.). For more information about campus parking, visit the Parking Services website.

From the North/East on I-20/59

Parking Deck: Take the McFarland Blvd. Exit (US-82, exit 73), turn right (you will be traveling north on US-82). Continue on McFarland Blvd. for approximately 2 miles. Take the Campus Drive exit. Continue down the off ramp until you come to a dead end. Turn left onto Campus Drive. Continue on Campus Drive through the stop sign at Bryce Lawn Drive (2nd stop sign). A parking deck for visitors ($3) will be on your left after going through this stop sign. The entrance is the first left after Bryce Lawn Dr. From the parking deck, walk along Campus Drive to its intersection with Hackberry Lane. Shelby Hall (building 150 on the campus map) will be across Hackberry Lane and to the right.

Shelby Hall Lots: Take the McFarland Blvd. Exit (US-82, exit 73), turn right (you will be traveling north on US-82). Continue on McFarland Blvd. for approximately 2 miles. Take the Campus Drive exit. Continue down the off ramp until you come to a dead end. Turn left onto Campus Drive. From the South/West on I-20/59

Parking Deck: Exit I-20/59 at the I-359 Exit (northbound). Continue on I-359 until it ends and merges with Lurleen Wallace. Continue on Lurleen Wallace until reaching University Blvd. Turn right onto University Blvd and go one block and turn left on Greensboro Ave. Follow Greensboro to the bottom of the hill and turn right on Jack Warner Parkway (JWP). Continue on JWP until coming to a stop light (Hackberry Ln.). Turn right at the stoplight and go up the hill. Follow this road as it veers left at the next stop light. Follow Hackberry Lane as it curves around Shelby Hall (building 150 on the campus map). Turn left onto Campus Drive just after passing Shelby Hall (stoplight) and take the first right on Campus Drive into the parking deck (the parking deck is 64 on the campus map). From the parking deck, walk along Campus Drive to its intersection with Hackberry Lane. Shelby Hall will be across Hackberry Lane and to the right.

Parking Deck: As you approach Tuscaloosa from the North/West on US-82 continue until reaching US-43S. Turn right on 43S and continue South until going over the Black Warrior River. Turn left at the first light after the Bridge (University Blvd) and go two blocks and turn left on Greensboro Ave. Follow Greensboro to the bottom of the hill and turn right on Jack Warner Parkway (JWP). Continue on JWP until coming to a stop light (Hackberry Ln.). Turn right at the stoplight and go up the hill. Follow Hackberry as it veers left at the next stop light. Continue on Hackberry lane as it curves around Shelby Hall (building 150 on the campus map). Turn left onto Campus Dr. just after passing Shelby Hall (stoplight) and take the first right on Campus Dr. into the parking deck (the parking deck is 64 on the campus map). From the parking deck, walk along Campus Drive to its intersection with Hackberry Lane. Shelby Hallwill be across Hackberry lane and to the right.

Parking Deck: As you reach the outskirts of Tuscaloosa from the south you will come down a hill and see Tuscaloosa directly before you. US-82 becomes McFarland Blvd and passes under Interstate-20/59. Continue on McFarland Blvd. for approximately 2 miles. Take the Campus Drive exit. Continue down the off ramp until you come to a dead end. Turn left onto Campus drive. Continue on Campus Drive through the stop sign at Bryce Lawn Drive (2nd stop sign). A parking deck will for visitors ($3) be on your left after going through this stop sign.
