Dr. Stallings (PhD 2006) highlighted in C&EN

The career path of Dr. Dontarie Stallings was highlighted in the “Career Ladder” series in Chemical and Engineering News.  Dr. Stallings earned his PhD at UA in 2006 under the direction of Dr. John Vincent.  After graduating from UA, Dr. Stallings began as an assistant professor at Georgia Southern University.  He then joined the Open Chemistry Collaborative on Diversity and Equity (OXIDE) where he worked on science policy and faculty diversity initiatives.  He is currently a professor at UC San Diego and associate director for OXIDE.
