The Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society is hosting a talk by Prof. Tracy Hamilton from UAB on the Chemistry of Coffee.  Learn all about the chemicals that make coffee delicious and addictive as well as how to make a good or bad cup of coffee.

The Student Chapter of the ACS will host representatives from Avanti Polar Lipids who will discuss career opportunities in Chemistry.  Come out and learn what you can do with your degree and have some free food.  Please RSVP to Eric Wenzinger.

The Department of Chemistry will recognize undergraduate and graduate students who have received department, UA, and national  awards. A reception will follow in the Shelby Rotunda.
